Subject: the Jonathan Martin/Richie Incognito bullying case from the NFL

Hello All,
If you have been/did/are going to discuss the Jonathan Martin/Richie
Incognito bullying case from the NFL in your advisories, you might have had
some of the kids (as I did) asking at what point someone is complaining vs.
airing grievances, when ribbing becomes harassment, and what is team bonding
vs. bullying, and questions of "manliness". I heard about this article on
ESPN radio today, gave it a read, and Mark Schlereth (former OL--same
position as Incognito and Martin--for the Redskins and Broncos and current
ESPN analyst) did a pretty accessible, cogent, and thoughtful job of summing
up how this is different from normal locker room hazing and what he found
particularly repugnant and distinctly un-"manly" about this case, if you
were interested in the wake of the Ted Wells report being published.
